A NEW PR on Reddish Knob!

Today's road stage of Tour de Burg included a timed section up the imfamous Shenandoah Mountain to Reddish Knob, a category 1 climb that ascends nearly 3000ft in 10miles.

My personal record from 2002 and course record of 40:04 was bested today with a 37:52 WOW! That made my week.
I was going so hard I really though I might have a heart attack or something I sprinted the final 1/4 mile in the big ring. A feat I never thought possible.

The rest of the todays stage was a blast we rode the gravel decent down this monsterous back side of the mountain on an 8 mile down hill it was pretty nuts. The gang here was ready though. I had my 25c tires but alot of the guys had 28 c and some even had there cross rides out on this one. Lets just say the gravel was flying, thomas was descending like a mad man and had his foot out in slick track moto style. Ruben Klien and I caught the kamakasi duo of Todd Braunum and Mike Carpalin just at the foot of some final kickers for the day and I made my attack. Gotcha..

That was close, we had a really fun time on that stage.

Props to John Youngdal and Chardin for putting in the sprint power to grab the top points today.

Tomorrows last stage is some of the best trails in all the lands and yes I mean anywhere.
Brayleys and Dowels rocks!

Later yall. Jeremiah
