Rest week chillin.

Well winter is back and I couldn't have timed the training better.
I just got back from an epic camp in SC with world X Terra Champion Ian Davidson, Nick the Spider Wait and Jeff Shalk aka Captin Cadence. We got in alot of good ridin and even did the chicken ride conveinenty the rain has held off for both of my off days in the last 2 weeks sweet!

I get the good feeling that luck has been on my side this pre- season and the weather has been like spring!
So for now Erin and I are just going to finish the painting in the dining rooms and I am going to try to read 2 books this week.

The 1st will be Trianing and Racing with a Power Meter. Written by my Coach Hunter Allen. If you know where to look you can see some of my files and journal entries. This book is really the difinitive guide to implementing a power meter into a art and science of training.

The other will be TBD. any recomendations? If I read your book you get a free autographed jersey from my freind Ryan Stava.

Sweet... :)

JB.

Check out utopia by thomas moore if you want some good reading. If your looking for some cycling reading check out Lance Armstrongs war. I really enjoyed the parts about Jan Ullrich.

extreme landscapes, edited by Bernadette McDonald.

This will only solidify your reasons for spending so much time outdoors. be prepared to dream about mountains.

I like the Bible, granted it will take someone a loooong time to read through it but in the end it will be worth it. It is the best selling book on earth. Where else can you read about people being eaten by fish and spit out on shore, someone walking on water, turning water into wine, and coming back from the dead? Too bad it doesnt have any pictures. Also some day we will all meet the author!!
