The Art of Being Domestic!

Wow. That was a good weeked, 2nd in the XC and 4th in the short track at Show Down at Sugar Norba National. #2!

I just got done doing some clean up in the kitchen as Erin headed off for work. As I did my domestic duty's I smiled thinking of how being domestic (as in not in Europe) is a treat.

It was great dusting off the sticky webs of a less than great Euro trip this weekend by having a great double podium weekend in North Carolina. I scored a hard fought 2nd in my battle with Jeff Kabush that came down to the last down hill. And bagged 4th, (a career best for me) in a break though short track where I attacked and lead in the middle of the race! Dag that was sweet.

In the XC, JHK rode away from us on the monster climb every lap. The single track was short and sweet so we could only grab a few seconds back on our climbing opponent. The downhill was the kinda thing where you may loose a lot but not much to gain by going berzeker it was slick rooty and rocky. Sue won the Super D and grabbed a great spot in the XC finishing 3rd and Rad Ross was 2nd in the Super D and 8th in the XC. A good weekend for our team!

I was really happy to see Nick Wait my bud a training partner pull out the game face for 5th in the cross country! I knew he had it now I don't want to strangle him for be SOOOOO CLOSE. He got it!

Mt Snow is next and should be a better mountain biking course!

Watching you rail those tech downhill shoots was incredible. EVERYONE in the woods was pulling for you! Thanks for going down there and putting on a show for us.
