My 10th Mt Snow Vermont

Greetings.

This was my 10th race up here in Southern Vermont. As ready as I thought I was to win this one, it was not in the cards. I guess I would choose next year anyway! MT SNOW IS USA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RACE for the next 2 years, It’s ON like donkey Kong!

Nick “the Spider” Wait almost caught me in his web on the 2nd lap. I however couldn’t bear the thought of long training rides next winter with my good training bud rubbing that one in my face! So I raced like I was going for gold instead of racing for a top 10. Good Motivation! We battled and I just nipped him by a few seconds! The short track was interesting 2 firsts. The 1st 1st was that I got the hole shot! That was my only goal since my legs were toasty from the xc. The other first was our boy Ryan Trebon Won his first short track! Taking advantage of the sprint I set out for a lap and a half Ryan jumped and no one followed. This hesitation in the chase of Sauser, JHK, Wells, Kabush and Liam allowed his gap to grow to the largest in short track history! He lapped most of the field. Only 10 riders did not get lapped!

In resent NEWS….

Congratulations to Erin for successfully organizing Rockingham Memorial Hospital’s groundbreaking ceremony! Good work Erin!. She has been running this 3 ring circus for months and I am sure she is relived it is over.

Our Trek/Volkswagen teammate Leah Davidson dislocated here elbow and she’ll be out a few weeks resting.

I met the marketing guy from Fender Guitars and he is going to let me use one of his guitars! WOW. Very cool. (I have wanted to learn how to play for a while so this is a great excuse to make me look busy during all this sitting on my ass resting.)

We are now in Mt Saint Anne Quebec Canada prepping for Sunday’s World Cup.

That’s all for now.

Jeremiah.
