Outer Banks

After an exhausting three weeks of travel and racing, Erin and I are here on Hatteras Island, 30 miles off the mainland coast of North Carolina. The outer banks, for those who don't know, are barrier islands... a euphemism for sand bars. It is a relaxing place that is surrounded by ocean and nothing else.

Today Erin, her Mom Michelle, her Dad (Gregg the "snake man") brother Josh and I went fishing twice and it was decent. Within two minutes, I caught a flounder! MMMM... Flounder. It was a shame both of the flounder and the blue fish I caught were too small to keep.

Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

The storm of le Tour is brewing on the horizon. This calm however is quite welcome.

Great to hear you're doing well!
Good luck in the future. I will be watching out for your name in the news.

I think you and shawn have some serious flashback issues...

both you guys keep repeating yourselves

I tend to repeat myself as well
when I am not repeating myself
I just end up saying the same thing over and over again
