Snow time or show time??

Training for TEAM USA.

With the Pan Am Championships comming up in Patagonia in a couple weeks I though it would be good motivation to ride the colors today. The snow makes the season feel months away.

Go ride!

WINTER'S ON.

I just looked out the window and it is driving snow. Yikes. For us this winter going out like a lion, mean and with sharp teeth.

Chris Scott and I went riding and the frozen sleet actually made a quazi grippe surface. We slid around the new local trails that the Shenandoah Mountain bike clubs been working on and had a blast! I did find out the hard way that there are some icy patched out there and stacked it few times but didn't get hurt.

Now Erin and I are contemplating another trip south. Erin had great time in Clemson I think she misses it. She's been blogging too, check out the meanwhile page.

I just have to keep on it; spring is just around the corner

Clemson Terra Rosa

A lot has happened since I promised a WHITEGRASS SHOUT OUT nearly two weeks ago, thanks Chip.
After a super 2 days of XC skiing with Erin up in the frosty valley, I realized that I have to do that more often. At least one trip is in store once we get back to VA besides it is being very cold and snowy so I think time on the bike's going to be tough.

We then headed south just in time for Winter's Revenge! We did the Asheville Velo Sports Mountain Bike Camp it was really cool.

Training has been great down here in Clemson. Sunny and warm weather was on tap today so we whent big. Andy has a bad cold so he just escorted us out. So the main crew for the Cezar's head loop were XXXTodd, Captin Cadence, Nick Waite and me. We hit some awsome climbs and stoped at the best overlook in South Carolina. At the top of Cezars Head state park you can see for like 60 miles or so to the shimmering lakes that border with Georgia.

I will fill in with some photos as soon as I can.

Don't fight the weather! You'll loose.
