Chicken Pox
Did you know that even if you get chicken pox once you can get them again? I found out the hard way. Rather now than later, but never would have been fine with me. Or as my Mom says “at least this didn’t happen in October, which would have been ugly. I am mostly just tired and no longer infectious… but I was quite the socialite before I knew what was going on, so you probably already have it.
Jeremiah wrote a blog about chasing that bear around. I think his account and that of the reporter from town were almost identical, except Jeremiah called out that lady’s address and the paper didn’t go there. Well, I mention it because Jeremiah’s picture ended up on the front page the next day. Yep, just him on his new Fuel with a bear running across the street. And we found out that the bear was just sedated and taken back to the National Forest.
Jeremiah rode home from the bike shop just now. He was on some borrowed bike that “was lying around the shop. It’s a fixed gear and now he is getting all kinds of excited about building one up for a beater bike. Guess I better hang another hook in the back room. Back to the point… Tim just called and asked Jeremiah if he had seen some guy’s blue fixed gear lying around the shop while he was in there earlier. HAHA Jeremiah stole a bike. I have never seen him bust butt out the door that fast before. Rockin’, my fiancé is a criminal. Oh well.
I am going to watch Troy tonight. Kelly said she was watching it in the theatre when some girl started whining about how she would have never seen that ending coming. Hello!?
It’s snowing at Whitegrass!

Summer Time!
We have been enjoying the most crazy winter time weather this year! Though I really, really miss skiing at Whitegrass, I can't complain about 70 degrees.
Last night, after a fun dinner with the Herricks and Kelly at Taste of Thai, Jeremiah, Jeff and I headed out for a late night bike ride on some fun cinder trails in town. There is something grand about wearing a short sleve jersey at night, in January. Jeremiah's new Lupine headlamp more than made up for my lack-of-lighting system and I enjoyed riding in the dancing shadows ahead of me. Got back to the house and finished up the evening with tea and yoga... Kelly surely thinks we are nuts!
Got lots to do today... Getting ready for Mom & Dad visiting and wedding planning tomorrow. Josh G is coming back into town for the weekend, its about time... now we have to convince him to stay through spring semester! Supposed to be some fun stuff tonight at 343 P Run.
Cold front is coming. Maybe we'll see you soon Chip!
Peace,
E North
