Thinking About 'Cross

It may only be July, but that means there are only 5 months until cyclocross nationals!

I look forward to cross because the days are chilly, the racing is intense and we don't have to hope on a plane to get to the best races in the country.

I haven't been blogging very frequently, but someone else has tried to do it for me! Someone has repeatedly tried to guess my password, reset my password, or have my password mailed to them. Nice try SUCKA! But maybe I really should blog more, just to keep it exciting.

Looks like it is time for me to go to work. I like lazy mornings, but mostly when they are followed by a lazy afternoon. Alas.

Have fun in the heat!

Happy 4th

Happy Fourth of July!

The Tour de Burg is going strong in and around Harrisonburg. I enjoyed 8 hours of riding on Saturday when we took to the Shenandoah Mountain Trail. Don't be fooled, the SMT is not that burly. Team Princess was out for ultra fun, not ultra speed.

Congratulations to Todd Helmick. He won the mountain bike race at the World Police and Firefighter Games yesterday! The WPFG are held every other year and are open to full-time professional police, fire and rescue workers. Over 9,000 athletes compete in more than 64 sport disciplines. Todd trained with the Games his big focus for the early summer. NICE WORK TODD!!!!!

Just a quick blog to keep things going.
Have fun finishing up your vacations!
