In Virginia...

we have apple orchards. This time of year as fall starts to settle in, the apple trees are in full production.



Last week, Jeremiah and I headed up toward Broadway and brought home a peck and a half of green apples, many of which have already found their way into apples pies. Delicious!



It's also the time of year when lots of folks head up to the Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. Interestingly, VeloNews contributor Bob Mionske has some advice about that bike ride.

This weekend the Rocktown Cutters are heading up to some 'cross races in Delaware and PA. Should be a fun time.

Half Time Celebration!

I'm excited because today I get to say '20 weeks down, 20 weeks to go!' Not to imply that I think it's going to be downhill from here, but I'm going to enjoy any milestone I can right now.
