Gnarly North Fork🍁🔥🤠. It’s been a long time since Gnarly North Fork🍁🔥🤠. It’s been a long time since I have been back here. It’s a big mission to ride the whole thing but when your friends put you in charge of planning the Wednesday grind have to put on a good show!!🧨. We had @carlos__grande @abe__kaufman @clark_lavoie_ @batteryexpressva Clint in for a beaut! This route has some shorter options but the full ridge line is the way to go. 23 miles one way with some iconic sections. Features include some very rugged backcountry riding rocks sidehill, Single Track through Pine trees, and oak and hickory, the crux is hiking up the chimney top rocks. That final downhill is no joke a double black magic hat full of surprises; it’s chock full of rad slabs root patches and weird step ups that require 100% concentration. I did get to do the last gravel section twice and capture the lead of the men’s race coming through. 🔥. @matthew.mtb was firing. But in hot pursuit.
